Sloan Post, LCSW PMH-C

Sloan Post earned her MSW from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work in New York, NY. Sloan graduated in a trauma-focused concentration created by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, which included training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and working with parents and their children, who experienced trauma. In addition to practicing privately, Sloan has worked in a therapeutic capacity within a range of environments including a pre-school, child welfare agency, early-childhood mental health clinic, and in-homes as an executive functioning coach. Across Sloan’s career, she has experienced working with individuals of all ages and stages of life, including parents, young adults, and children ages 0-18.

Julia Oliveira, LMSW


Julia is an LMSW and Psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults across various life stages and holds a particular passion for supporting moms and their infants. Her experience includes providing family therapy, play therapy, CBT therapy, parent coaching, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) and infant-mother attachment-based psychotherapy.  Her clinical work is grounded in a trauma-focused lens and an understanding of intergenerational patterns.

Julia brings a warm, collaborative, and welcoming approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique needs. She believes in meeting clients where they are, allowing healing to unfold at a safe and empowering pace. Grounded in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are essential to overall health, Julia creates a therapeutic environment that is comforting and supportive.

Julia worked as a Child Development Specialist with the Montefiore Health System and is trained in Group Attachment Based Intervention (GABI), a therapeutic model that works with children 0-6 to help develop a secure attachment bond with their caregiver through group play therapy. She also has training in grief and bereavement support for families and children of all ages who have experienced loss. 

Julia earned a Masters in Social Work from NYU and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Maryland.
